Our collaboration with Wuaman supports employment for more than 25 women from underserved communities in the Andes Mountains of Peru. Wuaman welcomes women with no prior experience and provides free training in crochet and knitting. After training, the craftswomen receive yarn at no upfront cost to handcraft the designs we create together. As our collaboration has grown, Wuaman has partnered with nonprofit women’s organizations in Peru to expand production and bring opportunities to more women.
