Björn's Saffron Honey is an homage to winter baked goods in Sweden, our beekeeper Pontus' home. Saffron is the most precious spice in the world, and its aromatic, hay-like flavor is a perfect complement to our honey‭.‬ We sourced the highest quality Spanish saffron and blended it into our Colorado Clover Blossom Honey for a taste that will dance on your tongue and make sweet or savory dishes sing.

Saffron comes from the flower Crocus sativus, known as "saffron crocus." It is famous for its use in Swedish baking, especially around Christmas. Even if you can't try a fresh-baked Lussekatter, the saffron buns eaten to celebrate St. Lucia, you can have some saffron honey drizzled on warm bread, which is just as festive and delicious!
